WHO WE ARE

NYCACTS, Inc. was founded in 2002 as a non-profit center organized to meet the medical and psychological needs of adults and families in New York.

Over the years, NYCACTS has grown to provide a wide range of services to the residents of New York State, and world-wide, specializing in treatment services for adults and their families. We provide guest medication for travelers in the US and visitors from around the world.

Appointments and Program Information

All services offered by NYCACTS are by walk-in during clinic hours and/or by appointment for home care treatment. We make home visits 24 hours a day! We even go to your hotel room if it is located in Manhattan.

  • 11AM to 4:30PM (Saturday)

Our Goals

The goals of treatment include feeling better about who you are, enjoying life around you, and meeting your personal responsibilities. To achieve the goals of treatment, you must:

  • Make a commitment to receiving therapy.

  • Attend all scheduled appointments on time.

  • Participate in the planning of your treatment.

Our Providers

Our team of professionals includes social workers, psychologists, counselors, nurses, counseling therapists, rehabilitation counselors, and psychiatrists. All staff are required to submit proof of their credentials, training, and licensure. They are required to undergo vigorous inspection, supervision, and ongoing education and training.

Dr. Echenique is an Internist with 25 years of experience.
 

Dr. Felicitas G. Amador, MD, CEO

Endocrinology, Addiction Medicine
Dr. Amador’s approach to therapy is individualized and interactive with a focus on long-term sustainable change. In addition to patience, empathy, humor, reliability, and intellectual curiosity, she brings 50 years of professional experience. Her expertise is working with individuals, couples, and polygroups around a full range of medical services.

Dr. Amador was also a former follower of the First Church of Religious Science.
 

Dr. Dale Alexander, DO

Physicial Rehabilatation Specialist, Addiction Medicine
Dr. Alexander is a pain management/anti-aging specialist, specializing in rehab.
